4/23/08 I've recently been contacted by the leader of a "game music club" consisting of students of the Berklee College of Music inquiring about my score for the game "Daggerfall". After discussing how the music came about we made tentative plans to have the club, consisting of drums, bass, two guitars, keyboard, violin, two violas and a cello, perform a composition from the game. Stay tuned.

After around 8 years of composing music and providing other audio needs for the video game industry I accepted a full time employee position at Bally Gaming in Las Vegas NV in 2001 as slot machine Sound Designer. As part of my duties I often have the opportunity to record live performers in a local Las Vegas recording studio. As an entertainment destination Las Vegas is fortunate to have many outstanding musicians and it is my pleasure to bring a few of them together to record Bally game music every so often.

Typically I'll bring in drums and bass for a morning session followed by a sax, trumpet and trombone player for about an hour and a half each in the afternoon stacking the tracks until we get a full arrangement. Some pieces have been further augmented with violins and French Horn. Many of these recordings can be heard on the audio demo page of this site.
